Family Fun Ride Location Details

Three Creeks is a large park (more than 1,000 acres) with several entrances.

To get to our August 28 Family Fun Ride event, you want the Confluence Trails entrance.  The address is 3860 Bixby Rd., Groveport, OH 43125.

This entrance is on the south side of the park, and is technically the main entrance.  There’s a long driveway off of Bixby Rd. to actually get into the park.

To get there from I-270, get off at Alum Creek Dr. and head south.  Turn left onto Groveport Rd., then take a left onto Bixby Rd.  You’ll find the entrance to the park on your left.

To get there from Rt. 33, get off at Hamilton Rd. and head south.  Turn right onto Bixby Rd., and the entrance will be on your right.

Here’s a map.  If you use your GPS, it might try to make you drive through the park, which is impossible.  See you there!

Family Fun Ride Flyers

With less than two weeks until our August 28, 2011 Family Fun Ride at Three Creeks Metro Park, it’s time to spread the word.

We’ve put together some simple full-page flyers that you can print and hang, or give away.  Click below, then right-click to save.

For color: poster_color.jpg
For black & white: poster_bw.jpg

Please distribute responsibly, and thanks for spreading the word!  Can’t way to see you on the 28th!

P.S.  Did you know that a “flyer” is a type of pamphlet, but a “flier” is someone who rides in an airplane?

Thank You Chipotle For The Event Prize

In case you didn’t know, Chipotle is the best restaurant in the world (especially the one on Main St. in Bexley, OH).  So I was super excited when they offered us an event prize for our August 28, 2011 Family Fun Ride at Three Creeks Metro Park.

I didn’t expect them to send us 5 coupons for dinner for 4!  That includes 4 entrees (burritos, bowls, whatever), chips and their awesome guacamole, and drinks for everyone!  That’s like a $35 value… x5.

Looking for a Chipotle near you?  You can check their website at www.Chipotle.com.

Come out on August 28, 2011 for our Family Fun Ride for a chance to win one of these coupons.  Everyone will receive a free chance to win the prize of their choice just for showing up, and it’ll be a great time.

Would you company like to donate a prize for our Family Fun Ride?  Time is running out, please contact us ASAP.

$1 Goes To $1

From the beginning, it’s been so important to Melissa and I that you can trust The Water Cycle Project.  That’s why we’re a zero-overhead organization.

When you donate $1, that dollar ends up in the hands of Indian well drilling teams.  The Water Cycle Project has no paid staff and no commissions.  Grove City Vineyard sends the money to Pastor A. Stephen, and the church generously pays all of the transfer fees and staff expenses out of their own budget.

Our mission is to get clean drinking water to as many people around the world as possible.  We’re focusing on India right now because we have such a fantastic relationship with Pastor A. Stephen, and we can put our money to its best use.

Please consider giving a donation today, with full confidence that everything you donate will be used exclusively to drill water wells.  Thank you so much for your trust and support.

Thank You to Rusty McClure for the Event Prize

A special thank you to New York Times Best-Selling Author Rusty McClure for his generous donation of autographed copies of his three most recent books to be used as prizes at our August 28, 2011 Family Fun Ride.

The three books include:

Crosley: Two Brothers and a Business Empire that Transformed the Nation – Published in 2005, this is the New York Times Best-Selling dual biography of Lewis and Powell Crosley, industrial barons of Cincinnati, Ohio who founded the Crosley radio, automobile and appliance company.  The book is written by Rusty McClure, David Stern and Michael Banks.  www.CrosleyBook.com

Cincinnatus: The Secret Plot to Save AmericaCincinnatus is an action packed thriller that is part political thriller, part paranormal investigation and part historical fiction.  Written by Rusty McClure and David Stern (The Blair Witch Project).  www.CincinnatusBook.com

Coral Castle: The Mystery of Ed Leedskalnin and his American Stonehenge – Sometimes called “America’s Stonehenge”, Coral Castle is a modern megalithic structure built in Homestead Florida.  A Latvian immigrant, Ed Leedskalnin, claimed to have built the whole thing himself and moved massive rocks with only simple hand tools.  Some believe that Leedskalnin held the secret to anti-gravity.  Written by Rusty McClure and Jack Heffron.  www.CoralCastleBook.com

Thank you Rusty McClure for these three autographed, first-edition books – a $75 value.  We really appreciate your support of The Water Cycle Project.
