Raffle Prizes For Family Fun Ride – August 28, 2011

We’ve been extremely fortunate to receive great prizes for our August 28, 2011 Family Fun Ride at Three Creeks Metro Park from  like a $50 gift card from Paradise Garage, a custom t-shirt from Skreened, a $100 gift certificate to Melissa Pauquette Photography, and free tickets to the Arena Grand Movie Theatre.

Thank you so much to these companies.  Your donations will change the lives of communities in India forever.

Winner of the T-Shirt Design Contest – The Colnas!

We have a winner of The Water Cycle Project’s first ever t-shirt design contest!

Congratulations Colnas for your awesome design.  It’s a fantastic design, and a clear fan favorite.Water Cycle Project Tshirt Design 2011We’ll be working with Kelly Colna in the next week to get the design finalized and ready for printing!

The design will be available for purchase on our website and at our Family Fun Ride on August 28, 2011.

Thank you to everyone who submitted a design.  There were many great designs to choose from.  We’ll leave them in the Facebook album for the indefinite future for you to look through.

Volunteers Needed for August 28 Fun Ride

Prizes and donations are rolling in, but we still need the help of about 20 additional volunteers for our Family Fun Ride on August 28, 2011.

We need volunteers for the following areas:

Raffle – 12:30 to 2:30
Food – 12:00 to 3:00
Setup & Cleanup – 11:30 to 12:30 and 3:00 to 4:00
Games & Activities – 12:00 to 2:00
Greeting – 12:30 to 3:30

The Family Fun Ride will be a great time for volunteers and participants alike!

Thank you Melissa Pauquette Photography for your generous donation!  MPP has donated a $100 gift certificate to be used as a prize at our Family Fun Ride on August 28, 2011.

The $100 gift certificate can be put towards any photo shoot package or prints, and will cover the entire cost of most family portrait sessions.

Official Announcement: Family Fun Ride – August 28, 2011

On August 28, 2011, The Water Cycle Project will be hosting a Family Fun Ride at Three Creeks Metro Park from 12:30p.m. to 3:30p.m.

You can find more information about the event on the mini site: funride.watercycleproject.org!

This will be a great time for cyclists and non-cyclists, adults and children alike.  There’ll be games, free food and drinks, and lots of very cool prizes donated by local businesses.  Three Creeks is a beautiful park to enjoy.  If you’ve never been there, seize this opportunity!

Bike Columbus Festival

The Bike Columbus Festival was in full swing this past weekend.  Hot!  If you weren’t there you missed an awesome The Water Cycle Project booth, and men with mustaches on crazy bicycles.

Thanks to two of our volunteers, Adam and Melody, for manning our booth at the Kids In Motion portion of the festival over at COSI.  You guys did a fantastic job and the booth looks great!
